The success of any shopping centre depends heavily on the accessibility of the

PARKING STUDIES
Internal flows are important to ensure a frustrated customer does not enter
or exit the centre. Traffic Engineering principles are implemented to ensure
the best possible traffic flows for customers as well as delivery vehicles.
DELIVERY VEHICLE DESIGN
The turning circle of delivery vehicles is often underestimated. Good initial
planning with the aid of accurate simulation software will ensure smooth deliveries
after the centre has opened for trade.
DETAIL DESIGN
The detail design of bulk earthworks, storm water and sewer is done with the
aid of advanced digital terrain modeling and hydraulic analysis software. Existing
and proposed ground models are developed in 3D, which is then referenced by
pressurized and gravity-feed network modeling software, resulting in highly
optimized and accurate results. This assists in the generation of accurate,
detailed drawings to council standards. Accurate volumetric data generated from
a 3D digital terrain model ensures accurate costing and a highly optimized design.

Through doing work for developers as well as oil companies, Infragen has gathered the necessary know-how to provide realistic feasibility studies which are widely accepted by oil companies. Lessons learned from after studies done at existing sites, or measuring the effect of proposed improvements at some sites is used in the next feasibility study, making the next feasibility study even more accurate.
FEASIBILITY STUDY
Based on interception and average fill surveys done at competitors - Previous
experience is of cardinal importance. Infragen is extensively involved with
all aspects of filling stations including feasibility studies (volume forecasts),
planning and design of new or old sites including construction supervision.
More than 60 filling station sites have been designed and constructed under
our supervision in recent years.

Infragen Consulting Engineers believes traffic engineering and geometric design cannot be separated. The era we live in call more and more for the integration of proper traffic engineering principles into road design. The personal at Infragen has been involved in several major road design projects, including the re-design of interchanges, planning of major arterials, design of urban intersections, 90 km of rural road in Namibia, basic planning of arterial roads.
